We set out to build language-learning technology that took both pedagogy and data protection seriously. Existing pronunciation tools were either shallow — one score for a whole sentence — or required shipping learner audio to servers outside the EU.
So we built the engine ourselves: syllable-level scoring with IPA transcription and timing, in 17 languages. Self-hosted in Germany, with the option to run it inside your own infrastructure.
That engine is now available as an API, with a free tier and public documentation. Our commitment to privacy, quality, and honest partnership remains unchanged.
